The extender will not work if you connect the extender into the existing router via ethernet cable. Because the WiFi extended are designed in such a way that it works with ap/client bridge rather than the access point.

If you connect this product to wirelessly then automatically the Extender to the prevailing router—in this case, the Extender functions as a client. On the other hand, wirelessly connect the Extender to the PC—in this case, the Extender functions as associate degree access purpose. 

How do I change my setup after the Extender is up and running?

At first, you must make sure that your computer is connected to the extender network and your computer is set up as DHCP client mode.

Now open any of the web browsers on your computer, then on the address bar of the web browser enter http://www.extender-mywifiext.net/. Then press enter. From there you will be able to change my setup after the Extender is up and running.

How to set the unit back to factory default?

On the back of the unit, you will find one reset hole put a stick on that hole and hold it until the Extender status LED flashes amber.

My EX2700 cannot connect to my router. What can I do next step?

If your router has MAC filter then make sure that you have added the EX2700's MAC address to your router. 

After that Move the EX2700 closer to your router

Now Power cycles your router and the EX2700.

After that you have to connect to EX2700 via wired, then you have to login into your router.
