So in this article we are going to discuss about the How to install TP-Link wireless router to work with a DSL Modem. Below are the steps:-

1- At first you have to turn off your router, modem as well as computer or Laptop.

2- Then you have to Connect your modem to the WAN port of the TP-Link router with the help of Ethernet cable then you have to connect a computer to TP-Link router’s LAN port with the help of  an Ethernet cable.

3- After that you have to Power on your both the router as well as the computer first and then the modem.

4- Then you have to login into your router’s web-based management page.

·       For login you have to open any of the web browser on to your computer, then on the address bar of the web browser you have to enter your router default IP address then press enter.

·       Then a new login page of your router will open where you have to enter your router default username and password.

·       Once you enter correct login details, then you will be login into your web management page of your router.

5- Then on the web management page of your router you have to configure the WAN Connection Type. Basically you have to Change the WAN Connection Type to PPPoE.

6- Then you have to enter your PPPoE username and password which are provided by your ISP.

7- Now you have to click the save button to save the settings.

8- Wait for a few minutes and check the WAN part on the Status page.
